To care for your 80% wool blanket, wash it by hand using a wool-specific detergent and cold water. Spot clean minor stains and for more serious soiling, choose professional dry cleaning to help maintain its quality.
The natural scent of lanolin oil in our outdoor wool blankets is a testament to their authenticity and quality. Derived from sheep’s fleece, lanolin enhances durability and gradually fades after airing out.
Wool is naturally a bit itchy and tends to shed at first, though both decrease over time. High-quality wool blankets are less prone to itchiness and shedding. Our Woolly Mammoth blankets are blended with other fibers to offer the warmth of wool while minimizing these "irritations".
